Since 1996, BBJ has turned Boeing commercial aircraft into luxury private jets for the world’s wealthy elite.
BBJ doesn’t sell many planes, with only 261 orders in the company’s history, but the planes it turns out to be are flying pieces of art.
In addition to the 777X, BBJ has developed private jet versions of the 737, 787 Dreamliner and 747.

Like the commercial version, the BBJ 777X is available in both 777-8 and larger 777-9 versions.
Boeing says the BBJ 777-8 has a range of 13,400 miles, while the BBJ 777-9 can go up to 12,700 miles. That’s several thousand miles farther than the aircraft versions can fly.
Boeing says the BBJ 777X is the longest private jet ever built, meaning flights from Sydney to London or Seattle to Dubai are possible.
The power comes from GE’s massive GE9X engine, whose fuel consumption is 5% lower than competing power plants and significantly reduces emissions.

The 777X has a wingspan of 236 feet and a cabin that is 7.9 feet tall and nearly 20 feet wide.
The 777-9 is 33 feet longer than the 777-8. The 777-8 has 3,256 square feet of interior space, while the 777-9 has 3,689 square feet, or about the size of a large suburban house – a very luxurious suburban house.

On December 10, 2018, the manufacturing company Boeing announced at the twice-yearly Middle East Business Aviation Association Show (MEBAA) a new wide-body model of a business jet, the BBJ 777X. The new BBJ model can fly non-stop halfway across the globe, longer than any business jet ever made. It also has the widest cabin of any twin-engine aircraft. The BBJ 777X is offered in two models known as the BBJ-777-8 and BBJ 777-9.
The BBJ 777-9 has a larger cabin measuring 342.7 square meters. This model offers almost immeasurable interior options to guarantee extreme comfort, especially on long-haul flights. To showcase more of the aircraft’s spacious cabin, BBJ unveiled outstanding interior concepts from three leading design firms, including Greenpoint Technologies, Jet Aviation and Unique Aircraft Design. Each interior concept shows how the aircraft can be configured according to the preferences of each VIP customer. The outer length of the aircraft is 76.7 meters, the tail height is 19.65 meters and the fuselage diameter is 6.20 meters. The wingspan of the fourth generation composite wing is 71.80 meters with split scimitar wings. The cargo volume is 218.2 cubic meters.

The plane’s cockpit also has state-of-the-art technology and modern avionics. It features an improved pilot interface that includes widescreen displays, touchscreen electronic flight bags, a touch interface on the interior panels, and two head-up displays.
Despite the larger cabin, the BBJ 777-9 offers a very long range of 11,000 nautical miles thanks to its two powerful General Electric GE9X engines. The GE9X is a twin-rotor, axial-flow, high-bypass turbofan engine that produces a maximum thrust of 105,000 lbf. It has 1 fan, 3-stage low-pressure, 11-stage high-pressure compressor and 2-stage high-pressure 6-stage low-pressure turbine. Its fuel efficiency is ten percent better than its predecessor and the specific consumption is five percent better than other competing engines.
The aircraft has a maximum take-off weight of 351,550 kg, a maximum payload of 39,964 kg and a maximum fuel tank capacity of 52,300 gallons. To improve security, the password must contain at least 8 symbols, including upper and lower case letters and numbers and at least one special symbol
