It’s a slow-moving process for direct TV, but they’ve managed to hit rock bottom. Now if your a conservative news outlet they remove you so their customers can hear the truth, go walk go broke, judging by the 1 1/2 star rating they have now and your force at least To give a star, they have reached.

They double charged my account for my bill. It created an overdraft, because I wasn’t planning on paying them all extra. When I called to complain, they told me to talk to my bank about the problem. My bank is not a problem! Not to mention, how terrible the service is, how expensive it is, and how much time I have to spend calling them to work on the issues.

For years there was direct TV. Canceled due to constantly increasing prices and every time it rains – no TV. $77 more than the last bill paid. Called for refund on 10/13/22 was told it would take a while, it’s now 11/24/22 still no refund. They have no idea how to treat customers – too much lip service. Beware!

I have been on the phone with Directv customer service for hours this week. Incredibly bad. Problem with streaming on NBA League Pass. Talked to a person at Directv who said it was a known issue but when he transferred me to someone else to fix it, they had no idea what I was talking about.

Wow this company is now joining yet another round of choosing what ideas they have on their platform. A year ago they fired OAN (One America News) for its conservative or alternative viewpoints. Now they are removing Newsmax again for the same reason. I used to be a customer and now I’m glad I left.

My review will probably never get past this point, but here it goes. This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Forget talking to a human if you have complaints or problems to solve. I foresee them going out of business because of the greater flow capacity and ease of access. I would never recommend them to my worst enemy.

It’s been over 3 months since we lost the Fox local channel that DirecTv is still in contract negotiations with Mission Broadcasting to get back on the air. We have already lost several seasons of football games due to the greed of both parties. I filed a complaint with the FCC and received a call from Myra, with DirecTv, telling me they were working on it. I was told that 3 months ago. I suggested to the FCC and Myra that both parties be locked in a room with a 16 ounce glass of water for each party, no food and no bathroom facilities and no one leaves unless affected by this situation. No contract with Fox is back on the air for everyone. I have no doubt they will be able to negotiate a new contract soon. Having lost NFL Sunday Ticket with DirecTv I think it would be in their best interest to resolve this but I didn’t get any warm fuzzies talking to Myra.

First, only use a satellite service when you have no other option, it’s terrible during bad weather.

Next, DIRECTV plans can never be discontinued even for 95-year-old veterans who no longer need television service. I tried to call and explain his situation but DIRECTV doesn’t care about their customers, just money for there spot product.

Just terrible customer service. They connected a service that was not requested and then continued to send me the item and after charging me told me that I did not request it. I thought we finally solved it, after I had to go through the hassle of returning the stuff, I didn’t ask, but then, I get emails saying they are reconnecting me! Then I have to call again and each call is a 10 minute plus hold time and then often you get disconnected before you talk to someone. It has sucked hours of my life and is very fast. Avoid ATT if possible!

So, here is where we are. It’s been more than a month since they promised to put my mother’s money back into her account. No, it’s not in yet. But, a woman has been calling him once a week “from the president’s office” for the past 4 weeks to bother him about it. They say, well check why it is not inside. But it never worked. They are basically waiting to see if I stop reviewing, so they can get together, so they don’t have to pay my mom. This is a terrible, high school mentality that they are choosing. His account is wiped out, on fixed income, on welfare, hood and they destroy his gratitude. Even called later that day just to annoy him. She never lays on anyone, but she did on this woman the other day. It kills me they made it to this point! Oh, and the call she receives once a week to harass her is from “The Office of the President.” **See attached** I’ll be back with more reviews of DirectTV I’m sure with the way this company runs its 3rd world ship! My God!

Follow up….they still refused to refund the money. why? not sure They said they would check if the service was used after the “free trial” but it ended 2 days before the trial ended. And they know it. I have been fighting with them for a month. Just don’t use DirecTV. Whatever you do… just run…! It’s horrible what they just did to my 70 year old mother!

Order the free week deal. Canceled my subscription “2 days” before my deadline. Take a screenshot to prove it. I never trusted DirectTv after what family and friends said. That’s why I just went with the free deal for starters. So, I get a message from my bank that says, “My bank account went into the negative”, my phone is turned off and my bank account is overdrafted. what happen…. DirectTV took my money without my permission, and even though I canceled. Okay, so, that’s not the fun part. I am in contact with them online and they say I never canceled. I have screenshots though? why? Don’t know about DirectTv. I tried to send them screenshots of my cancellation, but they didn’t care. So, now, they say, “They can’t cancel me online and I have to call an agent.” Even though I just explained to them, my phone went off. They were very rude and at least misleading. Do business with D.O.N.T DirectTv. They need my money, days, and an online streaming service! They are thieves! You have been warned!

I have been a Direct TV customer for 15 years because of where I live in the country. I once had traditional landline phone service but canceled it. I tried to return it today and got the worst “support”. I was told that they had to run a credit check but if it was rejected, I would have to pay a $49 connection fee. I froze my credit as a security feature. So, they said I should freeze it, call them back and go through the process again…after waiting 30 minutes. I told them to just run it, cancel and let me pay the connection fee because it’s so hard to get it free, call them back, set up service, and freeze my credit again. A disabled senior citizen should not have to go through this just to get phone service back because I have blood clots in my heart and need access to a phone because my cellular doesn’t work indoors! Direct TV must be led by Satan!

As for the platform, I have an acceptable experience with DirecTV. The service has been good, and my system repair/modification was done well. Being a news junkie, I see an unacceptable media bias. Looking at all the major news programmes, it is clear that all but the BBC have a political bent. The cancellation of OneAmericaNews was noted, and now Newsmax. I think you need to see more
