Minority Business Start Up Grants – The originators of our grants were seeing and hearing about the tremendous impact of COVID-19 on Black, Indigenous, or people of color. We want to dedicate some of our knowledge and time to help. While this is a business website, we are trying to help other business owners with our grant program. In support of this goal, we have disabled our usual call-to-action/contact form on grant pages and replaced our usual header images. We don’t want your money. We want to help you make more money.

There couldn’t be a better time than during this Covid-19 pandemic to try and drive organic traffic. We will help. The purpose of this program is to support Black-owned and minority-owned businesses by providing free SEO assessments, advice and planning.

There is currently no limit on the number of potential Marketing Grant recipients per month. Grant recipients will be selected on a rolling basis. There is no deadline for application.

The NAACP shares a list of grants for Black entrepreneurs that they provide or provide in partnership with other organizations.

Minority Business Start Up Grants

Comcast RISE is committed to providing marketing strategy, media campaigns, video production and design, and technology or Internet services to small businesses that are at least 51% owned by Black, Indigenous or people of color. Business must be located within the Comcast Business or Effectv service area footprint.

Ppp For Minority And Underserved Small Business Owners

Formed by American Express, Stanley Black & Decker and the US Chamber of Commerce Foundation, the Coalition to Back Black Business is set to run through 2023 and provide black business owners affected by the coronavirus with free business grants for minorities. The grant is valued at $5,000 and will be distributed to hundreds of qualifying small businesses on a rolling basis.

$5k, $15k, and $25k grants for small businesses. Eligibility requirements include annual revenue between $1k-$2.5m. The application must be submitted through a parter, which is also organized on the basis of location and language.

Local Initiatives Support Corporation, in partnership with and with financial support by Lowe’s, is providing 900 grants and $18 million. The Institute of Health offers grants to domestic small businesses to engage in biomedical research/research and development (R/R&D) that have the potential for commercialization.

First Nations, with support from the Indigenous Peoples Fund at Tides Foundation, expects to make 13 grant awards of approximately $32,000 each to support Native American-led food sovereignty work.

In partnership with the Association for Enterprise Opportunity (AEO), Fiserv aims to support Black and minority-owned businesses that have been impacted by COVID-19 and social unrest.

The Open for Business Fund provides support for community development financial institutions and other nonprofit organizations that serve diverse small businesses with a focus on Black, African American, Latino, Asian American, American Indian, and Alaska Native entrepreneurs.

Georgia Pacific Foundation grants are funding educational and vocational programs that focus on real-world business skills, as well as programs specifically designed for small, minority and women-owned businesses.

The FedEx Small Business Grant Competition is a grant program by FedEx that provides grants to US-based small businesses to help them scale and grow their businesses. The contest has rewarded several minority- and women-owned businesses since its launch. The competition will soon open for 2021 entries.
